Now with an MCP server

Any website, ready for your agent to edit

Paste a URL and Magicwebs rebuilds the page exactly, with its CSS, fonts and animations. Edit it in the visual editor, with AI chat, or from any MCP client, then publish it to your own domain.

Works with every MCP client

  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • VS Code
  • Windsurf
  • Zed
  • Cline
  • ChatGPT
One prompt in Claude Code · 6 calls to the Magicwebs MCP server

Ask for what you need

Describe the change in plain words. Your agent turns it into edits on the page. A few requests people make:

  • Clone stripe.com/pricing and swap in our plans

  • Rewrite the hero for a B2B audience

  • Make the whole page use our brand colors

  • Add a FAQ section above the footer

  • Hide the testimonials on phones

  • Publish it to launch.acme.com

MCP server

Connect it with one paste

Add Magicwebs to your MCP client and your agent can clone, edit, publish and roll back pages in any project.

{ "mcpServers": { "magicwebs": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.magicwebs.ai/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${MAGICWEBS_API_KEY}" } } } }

Or add it from your terminal

claude mcp add --transport http magicwebs https://api.magicwebs.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $MAGICWEBS_API_KEY"

Where each client keeps the config

  • Claude Code.mcp.json
  • Cursor.cursor/mcp.json
  • VS Code.vscode/mcp.json
  • Windsurf~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json

Your API key lives in an environment variable, never in the prompt. Prefer clicking? Everything works in the visual editor too.

Safe to hand to your agent

Your agent gets exact pages, clear errors and instant feedback, while every published version stays one call away.

  • Exact clones, not lookalikes

A real browser opens the page and keeps its markup, CSS, fonts and images. Scroll reveals, menus, tabs and carousels are replayed without the site's JavaScript.

  • Bad edits are rejected, not saved

Every change is a typed operation that's validated before it touches the draft. A wrong id or field comes back as an error your agent can fix.

  • Edits show up instantly

The editor subscribes to the draft, so every change your agent or teammate makes appears in the preview the moment it's saved. No build, no deploy.

  • Every publish is a version

Publishing snapshots the draft and serves it from the edge. If something's off, one call points the site back at any earlier version.

  • Your domain, served from the edge

Every page gets a subdomain right away. Add your own domain, copy the DNS records we show, and it goes live with HTTPS once they check out.

  • Pick the model and the effort

Choose Haiku, Sonnet or Opus and how hard it should think for each rebuild. Pages too big to copy are rebuilt by the model you chose, and every project shows its token cost.

Questions about Magicwebs

What does an exact clone mean?

Magicwebs opens the page in a real browser and keeps its own markup and CSS, pruned to the rules the page uses, along with its fonts and images. What the site's JavaScript did, like scroll reveals, menus, accordions and carousels, is recorded and replayed without that JavaScript.

Which agents and MCP clients work with it?

Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP MCP, including Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed and Cline. Point it at the /mcp endpoint with your API key as a bearer token.

Do I need to code to use it?

No. The visual editor and the AI chat in the app make the same edits your agent does. MCP is there for when you'd rather work from your coding agent.

Can I publish to my own domain?

Yes. Every page gets a subdomain right away. Add your own domain, create the DNS records Magicwebs shows you, and it goes live with HTTPS once they're verified.

What if a page is too big to copy?

Pages over 4 MB are rebuilt by the AI model you chose when creating the project, as editable sections instead of copied markup.

Can I undo a publish?

Every publish is saved as an immutable version. Roll back from the app, or ask your agent to call rollback_to_version, and the site switches over at once.
